California E-Bike Incentive Program

The California E-Bike Incentive Project provides up to $2,000 of point-of-sale incentives to support the purchase of a new electric bicycle (e-bike). 

Eligibility Requirements

• Residency: Applicants must be California residents.
• Income: Rebates are income-based, prioritizing low- to moderate-income households.
• Age: Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Rebate Amounts

• Voucher based rebate ranges from $1,750 to $2,000.
• Voucher will be applied as a discount at time of sale.
  

How to Apply

1. Check Your Eligibility: Review income limits and residency requirements.
2. Complete the Online Application: Submit an application with necessary documents, such as proof of income and residency.
3. Get approved and receive your voucher
4. Within 90 days, purchase your eligible E-Bike at Around the Cycle

Green SGV eCargo Bike Vouchers

ActiveSGV is thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking program offering $2,000 vouchers to help you purchase an e-cargo or family bike! This is one of the first e-cargo/family bike-specific incentive programs in the United States, designed to make these versatile and eco-friendly bikes more accessible to SGV families.

This exciting program is part of the larger GREEN SGV project, made possible by the US Environmental Protection Agency's Community Change Grant program, funded by the Inflation Reduction Act. We're giving out 300 vouchers that can be used directly at participating retailers to lower the cost of your new e-cargo or family bike.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Live in the San Gabriel Valley.
• Participate in program evaluation, including completing a pre-survey, two post-surveys, and trip reporting via the NREL OpenPATH app.
• Attend a free e-family/cargo bike demo event or class organized by ActiveSGV.
• Agree to the Participant Terms and Conditions.
• Purchase an eligible bike from an authorized local retailer.

Rebate Amount: $2000 (one per household)

City of Pasadena E-Bike Rebate Program

PWP residential electric customers are eligible for a $500 rebate when they purchase a new qualifying electric bicycle from a bike shop located in the City of Pasadena. An additional $500 bonus rebate (up to $1,000) is available for customers currently enrolled in PWP’s income-qualified bill payment assistance program.

How to Apply

• Purchase a new E-Bike at Around the Cycle
• Log in to your PWP account > Select “Apply for Rebate”
• Fill out the PWP E-bike Rebate Agreement Form with help from Around the Cycle
• Once approved, your rebate check will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks.
