The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Bicycle Sales Specialist, ideally willing to work full-time (30-40 hr/wk) including Saturdays, but we could work with a part time schedule if the fit is right. Since about half our business is in store and half is online, we expect our Sales team to prioritize in store customers and fill down time with assisting in our online sales and marketing processes.
Availability:
You must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Our current hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, this integral position can require presence beyond hours that we are open, inclusive of preopening and post-closing job duties. Scheduling may occur on Monday or Sunday as well
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with sales both in store and online
- Inspect and appraise bikes and gear for resale value
- Create detailed online listings
- Take detailed photos of product to sell
- Assist with order shipping and fulfillment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous work experience at a bicycle shop is ideal
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Google Suite
- Excellent people skills, outgoing and upbeat personality
