What's the real-world range?
Aventon claims up to 60 miles in Eco mode. In practice, expect 25–45 miles depending on rider weight, hills, cargo, passengers, throttle vs. pedal use, and assist level. Hauling two kids up Bay Area hills trends toward the lower end of that range.

Can I make it go 25 mph?
Yes — the LR ships as Class 2 (20 mph) but is rider-adjustable to Class 3 (25 mph pedal-assist only). Note that some bike paths and trails restrict Class 3 e-bikes; check your local rules.

Is it waterproof?
IPX5 water-resistant, not waterproof. Light to moderate rain is fine. Don't pressure-wash it and don't submerge it.
