PRODUCT DETAILS

The Aventon Level 3 is the versatile commuter e-bike in Aventon's lineup — Class 3 capable (28 mph), 70-mile range, and an integrated rear rack ready for panniers or a child seat. Built on Aventon's smart-bike platform with 4G/GPS theft tracking, geofencing, and a startup password through Aventon's Control Unit (ACU). A 500W rear hub motor with 864W peak in Boost handles hills and headwinds without breaking a sweat.

The Level 3 is Aventon's do-it-all commuter — a more rack-and-rider-friendly platform than the lighter, faster Pace 4, and a step down in cargo capacity from the Abound family. Available in Regular (5'3"–5'10") and Large (5'10"–6'4") in two colors.

WHO THE LEVEL 3 IS FOR

  • Daily commuters — long real-world range, Class 3 speed, integrated lights and rack.
  • Errand riders — rear rack ready for pannier bags, groceries, or a kid seat.
  • Riders who want one bike that does everything — commute, run errands, weekend cruise, all in one.
  • Smart-bike users — 4G theft tracking + startup password + geofencing is one of the strongest theft-protection packages at this price.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the difference between the Level 3 and the Pace 4?
The Level 3 has a heavier-duty frame designed around an integrated rear rack and pannier hauling — more versatile for errands and light cargo. The Pace 4 is the lighter, faster pure commuter, same 28 mph capability but less rack-oriented. Same motor, battery, and electronics across both.

How fast does the Level 3 go?
Out of the box it's set to Class 2 (20 mph max with both pedal-assist and throttle). It's rider-adjustable to Class 3 (28 mph pedal-assist only). Class 3 e-bikes are restricted from some bike paths — check your local rules.

What's the real-world range?
Aventon claims up to 70 miles in Eco mode. In practice, expect 30–55 miles depending on rider weight, hills, cargo, throttle vs. pedal use, and assist level.

Can I add a child seat?
Yes — the integrated rear rack works with Thule Yepp Maxi and similar child seats. Talk to us about which setup fits your kid's age and weight.

Is it waterproof?
IPX5 water-resistant, not waterproof. Light to moderate rain is fine. Don't pressure-wash it and don't submerge it.

What's the warranty?
Aventon covers the frame, components, and battery for 2 years. As an authorized Aventon dealer, Around the Cycle handles all warranty claims in-shop.
