What's the difference between Level 4 REC and Level 4 ADV?
REC is the recreational trim — the standard commuter package. ADV (Adventure) adds a front suspension fork and is geared toward mixed-surface riding. Same motor, battery, and electronics across both.

How does regenerative braking work?
When you brake, the motor reverses to generate electricity back into the battery instead of dissipating energy as heat. In real-world commuting, expect 5–10% added range from regen.

What's the real-world range?
Aventon claims up to 75 miles in Eco mode. In practice, expect 35–60 miles depending on rider weight, hills, cargo, throttle vs. pedal use, and assist level. Regen adds meaningful range on hilly routes.

Is it waterproof?
IPX5 water-resistant, not waterproof. Light to moderate rain is fine. Don't pressure-wash it and don't submerge it.

What's the warranty?
