PRODUCT DETAILS
Flyway is Salsa’s versatile carbon gravel bike. Informed by Salsa’s decades on dirt roads and evolved for the changing gravel scene, their fifth-generation gravel platform builds on the philosophy that comfort, stability, and versatility benefit both podium chasers and adventure seekers. This is the gravel bike you want to ride every day of the week: confident at race pace, comfortable at party pace, and capable of settling in for far-out adventures. Whether you’re lining up for an event or loading up to leave town for big miles, Flyway puts your gravel goals in reach.
- Deluxe Carbon Fiber Frame is Salsa’s most premium carbon fiber offering: ultra-high-modulus carbon fiber frame shaves around 150 grams off the weight of their standard carbon construction without compromising durability, stiffness, or ride quality.
- Salsa’s Class 5™ VRS (Vibration Reduction System) has seatstays and chainstays shaped to promote vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for a smooth and straight-tracking ride.
- Flyway Carbon fork with 700c x 57mm tire clearance, Three-Pack and rack mounts, fender mounts, and internal brake hose routing through the headset and steerer tube for a super-clean look.
- Suspension-corrected to fit 40mm gravel bike suspension forks
- Progressive geometry with a long reach and short stem. A low bottom bracket and slack head tube angle maximize stability and confidence. Short chainstays offer responsive handling, and symmetrical dropped chainstays combined with a steep seat tube angle deliver excellent power transfer.
- Top tube bag mounts, generous bottle capacity, direct-mount frame bag mounts, rack and fender mounts.
- Through-headset cable routing keeps cockpits clean and keeps hoses and housing out of the way of handlebar bags and accessories.
- Flyway can fit a 700c x 50mm tire in the frame and a 700c x 57mm tire in the fork
