The Surly Steamroller is our street-smart steel fixed gear or single speed. It’s designed to hustle from A to B and hold up to all the potholes, construction zones, and bike-rack battle scars along the way. This classic is back as a frameset only for a limited time.

  • Road bike geometry with track bike features: 120mm rear spacing, track-legal BB height, track crank compatible
  • 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel frame and fork; double-butted main triangle, TIG-welded
  • 1-1/8" threadless chromoly steel fork, brazed
  • Fork and seatstay bridge drilled for mid-reach (47-57mm) caliper brakes
  • Brake cable stops for cleaner rear brake routing
  • 700c x 38mm maximum tire clearance without fenders (32mm with fenders)
  • One bottle cage mount
  • Frame is powder coated for a durable finish and E.D. coated for rust resistance

SIZING: Surly recommends the following sizes based on rider height:

  • 49cm: 5'3" - 5'7"
  • 53cm: 5'6" - 5'10"
  • 56cm: 5'8" - 6'2"
  • 59cm: 6'1" - 6'5"
  • 62cm: 6'4" - 6'8"
